Freddie Mercury, protagonista de un vídeo que guardaron durante 35 años

La forma de ver la vida de Freddie Mercury siempre ha apasionado a millones de personas. Tan libre, excéntrico y único, vivió su vida como él quiso vivirla hasta el final. Una forma de vida muy comentada sobre todo tras el estreno de ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, la película de Queen.

Por ese motivo, cualquier imagen o vídeo inédito de Freddie Mercury que salga a la luz se vuelve viral e interesa a millones de fans de todo el mundo. Este material nos aporta una idea aún más clara sobre como era el artista cuando se bajaba del escenario.

Recientemente ha salido a la luz un nuevo vídeo del artista, en el que aparece acompañado por los demás miembros de Queen. Freddie aparece junto a Brian May, John Deacon y Roger Taylor en la fiesta de después de la presentación del single ‘One Vision’, el primer adelanto de su decimosegundo álbum de estudio titulado ‘A Kind of Magic’, en el año 1986.

Just look at how adorable they are ❤️ ⁣ ⁣ 💿 Queen was inspired to write this by their Live Aid appearance in 1985 – millions of people sharing one vision of a better world. When the band was approached to perform at Live Aid, they were in a rut and reticent to appear. But after their show-stopping performance, they re-entered the studio with renewed energy. They were back in Munich (a place they had previously hit trouble during the Hot Space sessions), but this time spent a lot of time working in the studio, not being distracted by drugs or other distractions – unlike the earlier sessions.⁣ ⁣ 🎙 All four band members helped writing this. Most Queen songs were written separately, mostly out of a desire to keep writing credits to themselves – Brian May has often hinted in interviews that he was quite possessive of his own songs. But this also made sure their songs didn't all sound alike. The idea of writing a song together came from Freddie. He rang the other three members and asked them to come to the studio, where the writing and recording sessions were taped 🎶

Solo mira lo adorables que son”, dice la descripción del vídeo publicado en Instagram.

El álbum que contiene esta increíble canción, ‘A Kind of Magic’, se publicó justo después de la icónica actuación de Queen en el concierto Live Aid de 1985. Una actuación que marcó un antes y después, y que les llevó a lo más alto, uniéndoles otra vez como grupo, para volver a meterse dentro del estudio a hacer el tipo de magia que solo ellos podían hacer. Porque el legado que dejó Freddie Mercury como vocalista de Queen es infinito.
