El desafío de Meghan Markle a la reina Isabel que ha pasado desapercibido

Continúan las polémicas en torno a Meghan Markle y parece que esta vez la esposa del príncipe Harry se está ganando a pulso su imagen de rebelde. Meghan sigue saltándose a la torera la estrictas normas de la reina Isabel y marcando su propio estilo en un mundo en el que el protocolo debe seguirse a rajatabla. La  exactriz ha hecho una aparición sorpresa durante la gala de entrega de los Fashion Brit Awards y no ha dejado a nadie indiferente con la elección de su look al más puro estilo celebrity. Un diseño de Givenchy ajustado que resaltaba su embarazo -que además ha remarcado acariciando de manera constante su barriguita-,  de escote asimétrico que dejaba al aire uno de los hombros y que nada tiene que ver con los recatados outfits por los que suele decantarse Kate Middleton. La nuera de Carlos de Inglaterra ha combinado su llamativo look con  complementos en dorado,  bracelete de Pippa Small y zapatos de Tamara Mellon. Por si esto no fuera de por sí suficiente provocación, Meghan ha lucido un esmalte de uñas en tono oscuro, algo que está estrictamente prohibido por la reina Isabel, al igual que llevar los labios pintados en colores fuertes.

Parece que a pesar de que ya ha pasado más de un año desde que anunciara su compromiso con el hijo de Diana de Gales e iniciara su preparación para convertirse en royal, Meghan se resiste a adaptarse a las férreas normas de la corte británica y quiere darle un aire renovado al mundo de los Windsor. Un aire al más puro estilo celebrity que probablemente no haya sentado muy bien a la siempre correcta Isabel II.

Pese a que no estaba previsto que la esposa de Harry participase en la entrega de premios, Meghan ha querido sorprender a Clare Waight Keller, directora creativa de Givenchy y diseñadora de su vestido de novia, a quien ha entregado el premio a la Diseñadora de Ropa Femenina Británica del Año. «Es un inmenso placer estar aquí celebrando la moda y a los diseñadores británicos en mi nueva casa del Reino Unido», ha dicho la Duquesa.
