Amyloid forms sticky plaques outside brain cells, while tau forms tangled strands inside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the brain is not only a collection of nerve cells. It is also packed with blood vessels, and even small changes in circulation can matter. Think of a neighborhood during a traffic jam. The buildings are still there, but getting around slows down and stress levels intensify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A possible biomarker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A biomarker is a measurable sign of disease or wellness.
